Strategically the WSSET membership is free of charge!
WSSET is looking to increase its members and volunteer/internship so that it has a broader knowledge, experiences and resources base. Becoming a member or volunteer/internship for us will bring you into a large network of experts in the field from all across the world and the continent, and provide a forum through which ideas and experiences can be exchanged mean more business opportunities.
Membership of the society is made up by businesses, universities, professionals, students/graduates, volunteers, Internatinal NGOs, Aid-organisations, Governments and institutions who will wish to support the aims and mission of the society.
WSSET Team would like to invite you to join the non-profit World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET). The Society plays a key role in promoting sustainable energy and developing a partnership between academic institutions and industry.
Your organisation will benefit in several ways from joining the Society including:
- Promoting your products/services
- Publicising your products/services on WSSET website
- Assist you in attracting external funding for your R&D projects
- Assist you with networking and new business opportunities in the UK and overseas
- Assisting with staff/student recruitments
- Assisting licensing/commercialising of new technologies

- Organise training programmes for your staff

We believe that your contribution will be valuable to the success and development of the Society. In addition to the support described above, we can provide you access to a sustainable energy database and organise visits/tours to our facilities. Please also note that we provide certificates to those joining WSSET.
Volunteering Opportunity at WSSET :
Would you like the satisfaction of helping to promote Sustainable Energy Technologies including best practice in the low carbon building community whilst enhancing your CV at the same time? At the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET) we have a number of rewarding volunteer opportunities that can help you gain self-confidence and practice new skills.
We are looking for excited professionals, students and graduates with an interest in low carbon technologies issues and environmental issues. Examples of the types of tasks available for volunteers include:
- Representing the WSSET at events and shows
- Writing technical articles on Sustainable Technologies related to the following fields:
- Low/zero-carbon buildings
- Recycling
- Renewable systems
- Smart control systems
- Environment design
- Policy and environment assessment
- Low/zero-carbon technologies
- Waste management
- Contributing to WSSET newsletter
- Helping introduce the WSSET membership opportunity to colleagues, businesses, universities, colleges, local government in your area
Travel and expenses will be covered and some work tasks can be completed from home in the UK.
